What Does Collaborative Robot Mean?

- Hand Guiding- This type of collaborative application is used for hand guiding or path teaching. - Safety Monitored Stop-This is basically a safety net in which the robots and employees can coexist safely in the work environment. When an employee is in the designated safety zone, the robot will respond with its assigned speeds (generally slow down) and stop when the worker comes too close.
- Power and Force Limiting- This is a program that allows the cobots to detect when abnormal forces are applied while they are working. In these situations they are programmed to either stop or move away from the force therefore cancelling out the initial contact.
